My week in San Francisco was full of fashion, hotels, restaurants, private events and a lovely simple day out exploring Sausalito, which was the perfect balance to a hectic week. The main reason of my trip, was to attend RUBINSINGERs my husband personal appearance and trunk show at Neiman Marcus San Francisco, and from there on, I built the itinerary and activities around.
Day 01 went this way. Arrival to San Francisco around 2.30PM from New York ( approx. 6 hours flight). Our car and driver was waiting for us to rush us to our hotel, the St Regis San Francisco, to check in and get ready to the private cocktail event co-hosted by Neiman Marcus and RUBINSINGERs at Dirty Habit. After the event, which finished around 9PM, our team enjoyed a great rustic Italian dinner at Cotogna, followed by some truffled delights at Relais & Chateux Restaurant Quince, next door. Time to call the day and head back to our hotel for a nice night sleep.
We checked in at our Astor Suite at the St Regis San Francisco. Corner Suites with 711 Square Feet and floor-to-ceiling windows featuring lovely views of San Francisco in the SOMA district South of Market. During our stay, weve enjoyed the following VIP perks I offer my clients when booking with me: Upgrade on arrival, subject to availability (excluding suite categories) + Continental breakfast daily, for up to two in room guests + Lunch for two in Vitrine restaurant, once per stay (excluding alcohol and gratuity) + Early check-in/late check-out subject to availability.
DAY 02 began very early over a great and healthy breakfast at Vitrine Restaurant , on the 4th floor of the St Regis San Francisco. From there off we walk to the north side of Market, to Neiman Marcus, to find RUBINSINGERs featured Windows displays, and begin the day of Personal Appearance and Trunk Show. When at Neiman Marcus San Francisco, you must do a coffee of lunch stop at The Rotunda Lounge and Restaurant. I instead, went back to the St Regis San Francisco, and had a lovely lunch at Vitrine Restaurant with the Sales & Online Marketing team, followed by a walk around the property, previewing other suites. Between us, the Presidential Suite is stunning and the ideal destination for a uber chic private event.
Back at Neiman Marcus San Francisco for more RUBINSINGER Trunk Show. And right after, weve got on a private car to be transferred to Palo Alto, and more specifically to the Rosewood Resort Sand Hill, where we would join four other guests, for dinner at Michelin starred restaurant Madera. By 12 at night, we were back in San Francisco, ready to be done with our long happening day.
DAY 03. Our last full of events with Neiman Marcus in San Francisco. In between I took a lunch break to visit the very lovely Ritz-Carlton San Francisco, which to my understanding, is the leading luxury property. Book this property with me and enjoy the following VIP Amenities: Upgrade on arrival, subject to availability + Early check-in, late check-out, subject to availability + Continental breakfast daily, for up to two in room guests + $100 USD Equivalent Resort or Hotel credit (not combinable, not valid on room rate, no cash value if not redeemed in full, not valid on tax or parking).
Our last full day in San Francisco, went this way. We started with a Champagne Breakfast at a clients mansion. From there we moved on to a lovely and humble morning/afternoon in Sausalito. We took a car from San Francisco to Sausalito, across the Golden Gate Bridge. First stop was Salitos Restaurant, where we sat at the outdoor terrace and we enjoyed over three dozens of local oysters along with three bottles of crispy white wine. Second stop, after a nice 20 minutes walk along the promenade, was FISH Restaurant. At FISH they offer sustainable seafood and organic produce, bought locally from the people who work so hard to bring the seasons best to their doors. They grill food over a wood fire, drink wine from simple glasses and think going fishing isnt a bad way to spend a day.
Time to head back to San Francisco. There was still plenty more to do. So we jumped on the ferry and 20 minutes after filled with breathtaking views, sailing by Alcatraz Island and a sunset gifted to us we were docking at Embarcadero. From there we all rushed to see the unveiling of the Neiman Marcus Seasons Windows, featuring RUBINSINGER. Wait the day, the eating and drinking was not even close to over yet…
Back at the St Regis San Francisco, a power nap and off again. It was opera night at the War Memorial Opera House. So we followed the classic route. We began over cocktails and tapas at Jardeniere Restaurant quintessentially San Francisco along with our local friends Sobia and Nadir, and from there at 7PM sharply, we crossed the street to the Opera house to enjoy a performance of The Magic Flute.
Was the end of a very successful and eventful week in San Francisco. Great to see so many friends, and meet so many lovely ladies. Quick breakfast at our suite at the St Regis San Francisco, and back to the airport to head back to Home Sweet Home in New York.
